Plancenta into pills?

Question

So I'm due in January and I want to put my placenta in pill capsules. Just because I've heard awesome things. 
How much is it and where can I find somewhere that does it?

Just google it. It was like $300 when I was in San Francisco, California. I decided not to do it because there’s no proven benefits and it’s likely just a placebo. You can do the same thing with a sour patch kid that you can get for a few bucks. Also, there’s no saying how they do things since it doesn’t have to be federally regulated.

I agree with the previous comments. for sure do your research. your body expels the placenta for a reason. the detachment of the placenta signals your body to begin milk production, therefore why people want to re-ingest it doesn't make much sense to me, I want no part of something that might hinder, not help, milk production. lol!! not to mention it has all the hormones you need for pregnancy, when pregnancy is over you don't need them anymore. so why take them again?

New studies are coming out though to suggest it actually does nothing for the body. 
My firsts placenta was buried. Dunno what will happen with my second.

my midwife will take mine to get it done for around $100. she doesn't do it herself, just takes it to where they do, picks it up, and brings it to my follow up.
