I don’t know when I’ll know

I’m 38+4 and 3cm and 100% effaced as of 37+6. I am convinced that I won’t know when I’m in labor unless my water breaks. I have cramps here and there and then go poop and they go away. My only things is I have soooo much vagina pressure and pain and every time she moves I feel like she is coming out of me. Pain and pressure doesn’t go away with laying down anymore. Is this normal? I wanna go to the hospital and get checked but the hospital is 40 mins away
