Can i use a pack n play instead of a bassinet?

I have a super small house and i want to find out if anyone has used a pack n play instead of a bassinet... it seems like i would get much more use out of the pack n play

Yes, I actually think bassinets are a waste of money, you'll get much more use of the pack n play.

Absolutely! If you're going to have a crib you don't even need the pack n play, or you can skip the crib altogether and just use the pack n play. Pack n plays are so nice. We only used our bassinet for about 4 months, but I still use the pack n play for my nearly 1 1/2 year old! Especially for traveling. Love that thing.

I have the Pack n play with the basinette attachment in the bedroom :) the crib is currently not functional because it’s being repurposed and hubby hasn’t been working on it....but I’m not worried because I have the pack in play :) it will be a few months before baby is in his own room anyway

Of course! We use a Moses basket right now, and he sleeps next to our bed but we’ll soon have to move to his crib because he’s getting too big for it! I have considered getting a pack n play just so he doesn’t have to leave our room lol
