STD HELP

So I️ve recently starting sleeping with a new partner and I️ have noticed that my vagina has acquired a different smell and not a very nice one. There is no discharge or anything but it is potent. He is uncircumcised and I️ haven’t been with anyone who isn’t besides him. Is this normal or should I️ see a doctor?
