I have the most vivid and exhausting dreams while I’m on my period. They’re never good, fun, sex dreams because why would life be perfect on your period but they are super detailed. Like last night - i had a dream with like everyone i knew that was in a 4 story school/apartment building/store thing and it was the purge (that movie where everyone kills one another). I don’t like killing but I’ll be damned if i wasn’t one of the last ones left standing. I was dreaming so hard that i barely woke up when my SO kissed me goodbye for work.

Anyway - I’m more exhausted now than i was when i went to bed. Is this normal? It’s only during my period and i wake up almost every day feeling drained because my dreams take so much of my energy and emotion.
