Anyone TTC after their January 2017 baby?

My husband and I have decided we want to try for our second baby. My son will be 10 months on Thursday and we have been exclusively breastfeeding since day 1. I quit taking the mini pill last Sunday, but I still have yet to have my first period so I've been taking ovulation tests. Have yet to have a positive. Just wondering if any of you ladies have been in this situation and can give me some hope that I will ovulate soon without a period and could even get pregnant. Any stories you have are welcome!

I do mostly postpartum care in my practice but I do a little prenatal care for patients who I already see.  I always tell women to forget those ovulation sticks.  
1. They aren't cheap. Save your money for future diapers. 😉
2. They aren't very reliable.  Mostly false negatives and that can be frustrating.
Relax. Have sex with your husband. Is recommended every other day to increase sperm count but heck have it daily... You'll both be happier.  You may not ovulate for a full cycle after the pill... Or it could be a few months.  Overall stress is the most influencing factor so just clear your mind and go with it.  You got pregnant once you can do it again.  Best wishes to you and your family.

yes we're in our second cycle trying! i'm currently in my two weeks wait and god I didnt remember how long and cruel it was. 😅😭 Hoping for a bfp in a week or so!

We are on month two of trying. I'm already finding myself getting neurotic about tracking my ovulation 😂 whoops! Close to driving my husband crazy!  My daughter turned 10 months on the 20th and I have a 6yo from a previous relationship.

we've been trying for 6 months 😔 period came back around 3 months pp, but only got somewhat more regular these last couple cycles. trouble is, my husband works nights so we don't see each other much during the week. we don't bd enough during the fertile window (usually only once or twice) so we'd just have to be really lucky/sticky for it to happen. af due tomorrow on cd31 (used to have 28 day cycles like clockwork) but not having any of my typical symptoms besides EXTREMELY emotional so that could go either way.. idk, it's the same old rollercoaster just with a crabby teething 10 month old now 😏

You were taking BC while breastfeeding? Did that effect your mile supply any?

Honestly, I used the period tracker on this app and it worked twice now. Due July 2018. If your period is fairly regular, give it a shot!
