If someone gets pulled over for speeding, should they be fined more if children are in the car?

Nope, it should depend. I don't think anyone in their right mind would do so without a legit reason. 
My dad was speeding with me because I was dying and the ambulance would have taken over 40 mins to get me to the hospital. I was 6 and had ruptured my appendix. I had an appointment at the hospital to have it removed before it bursted but it was my luck that it did way before.

Speeding and reckless driving aren't the same. Sometimes it's necessary to speed if traffic in general is speeding. Slow drivers are actually more dangerous, especially on freeways. 
If someone is speeding and driving recklessly (going way too fast or in combination poor driving), then maybe.

No because they should hand more money over to the state that could go toward their children. Speeding is not a big deal. Imagine going 65 in a 55 and one person gets a 200 ticket and someone with a kid gets a 400 ticket. That’s crazy. Plus if they can’t afford the ticket their license get suspended. Speeding tickets should be the least of police concerns.

Yeah within reason absolutely. I think endangering yourself is one thing but when I see people speeding and running red lights with 7 kids in the backseat I’m like seriously? What’s worse is that I’m sure some of these kids aren’t even theirs.

I think they should be fined more if anyone, not just children, are in the car. As a driver you’re responsible for other’s lives, not just your own.

It depends on the situation. If it’s for an emergency than no, but if it’s for something stupid like trying to get away from the cops then hell yeah.
