2 months. I said yes, got pregnant, then married while I was 8 months pregnant. We'll be celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary in March.

Favorite thing of the wedding was the reception, we had the best time! My in laws are great, adore my mother in law she's very sweet. Favorite thing about marriage is doing life with my best friend and the memories we make. Least favorite is if we have a disagreement, which is rare, but its saddening when we do get into it. Love my little family! 👪

Proposed after a year and 11 months ☺️ he was going to propose on our 2 year anniversary but I figured out his plan and he wanted to regain the surprise of it.
I love being married. He always tells me he does too. It’s nice to be able to look over at him and know he’s my husband, he chose me for the rest of his life. He’s my best friend so we have a lot of fun together, and we own a home and have twin babies on the way. He’s given me literally everything I could ever want.
My in laws dislike me- there’s a weird power struggle they have over him that I don’t partake in but it just makes things weird. My family loves my husband though and he loves my family like it’s his own. It works out- I’m cordial to the in laws and we see them for a weekend each month (they live a few hundred miles away). We see my family more since everyone lives so close. We don’t have any issues within our marriage because of in laws or anything so it works just fine.
I really don’t have a least favorite part of marriage since I know I married the right person. There’s never a day that I wish we didn’t do any of this, or a day that I wish things were different. I did get married young- met him at 18, engaged at 20, married at 21 and now 24 expecting our 2 babes. He’s 9 years older than me. Sometimes I think about how different things would be had I not started dating him and followed a different path. But it’s never because I wish it was different, it’s mostly when I wonder what my old friends who stopped talking to me when I got married and such are doing with their lives. I didn’t realize how many friends you lose when you get married or pregnant, and that’s something I wasn’t expecting at all.

We went on our first vacation together and stayed in a cabin and that’s where he proposed. We are going back to that cabin in 2 weeks! We were together for almost 7 years when we got married. We are hs sweethearts and he is my best friend. We got married this past spring and these first 7 months have flown by! I know there are hardships ahead because no marriage is perfect but right now my life feels so complete after marrying him. Favorite moment in the wedding was walking down the aisle and watching him lose it. I don’t have a leave favorite part because the whole day was perfect, even when things went wrong!
