Saving for IVF?

I'm almost 25 and have diagnosed stage 4 endometriosis and infertility. Due to my circumstances, my OB told me I would need a specialist because regular fertility medicine just won't do it for me. I want to start saving for IVF, but have no idea where to start or how much to put back/how often to put back. Any advice?!

Is it a possibility to move to IVF mandate states like Illinois or Newyork etc where Insurance should covers everything?? You can check google for more information otherwise one cycle + meds needs at least 20k.

It depends where on your insurance and where you go. I would first ask for a referral from your doctor and ask them how much. Then call your insurance to see if any of it is covered. For me, my husbands in the navy, I had to do ICSI which is IVF but I needed the doctor to but an individual sperm in each egg instead of letting it happen in a Petri dish, we spent about $6,500 and that includes the meds. We did this in Washington DC. If insurance didn’t cover anything, we would have doubled that.
