My son has been teething but tonight I noticed his 1st tooth cutting through. He was a little fussy here & there throughout the day but I thought it was b/c be just got his shots, but it wasn't anything that eating & a teething ring couldn't fix. Now I put him to bed & he's been waking up screaming in pain & I don't know what to do. I made sure he was fed & burped & had a clean diaper. I gave him gas drops & even tried gripe water. I ended up putting a bit of teething gel on his gums & it seemed to help a little but he still keeps crying out & I have to get up to rock him back to sleep (not that I don't love cuddling him) but I am getting exhausted. Any ideas or suggestions/tips? Thanks in advance.
