Bleeding whilst on the pill

This is my third month being on the pill and normally I take it for the month and then stop when I’m due on my period for 7 days. I came off my period a week and a half ago, and whilst being on the pill I have been bleeding the last couple of days, heavier than my normal period and a really bright red. Is this normal and do I carry on taking the pill whilst I’m still bleeding or do I stop taking it until I’ve stopped bleeding? 😬 help pleaseee!!!
