Did you baby say Mama or Dada first ?

My son is 11 months old - 1 year on the 24th December I have always said mama and dada to him but have started to say mama more now as he just doesn’t say it bare in mind he is a month early whether that plays a part or not! But I’m sure he keeps saying dada who he hardly sees as he is always working which makes me sad he isn’t saying mama as I’m always looking after him :( and surely he should say mama first anyway?

Many babies say Dada first because it’s easier for them to form a D than an M.

My daughter said “mama” first, which I️ rubbed in my husbands face all the time lol. Now that she’s 16 months, “Daddy” is her favorite word. She never says Mommy 😭

Both said mama first. My oldest said it at 8 months and my baby said it at 5 months.

My two oldest said dada first and my youngest said mama first. From what I've read it's usually easier for them to say dada first. I feel you on this one!! It used to drive me nuts since I was the one that was around them the most.

My husband works and usually only sees our son when it's an hour before bedtime. 
I have watched him and taken care of him for over a year now.
His first word was DaDa and I wasn't upset because I know when his dad heard him say that he would be happy. He never really sees him so he doesn't get to experience everything else I do with our son.
My son is now 1 year and 3 months and still refuses to say mama lol. Don't get me wrong he says it but when I tell him say mama he will say DaDa lol
