Short midwife visits?

I hired a home midwife for this pregnancy and I heard all about long, intimate appointments from others that did the same. My appointments are always 20-30 min and I always kinda feel like "that was it?" After it's over. Like I feel like my questions drive the appointments, she really doesn't ask too many questionss, barely talks to my husband, hasn't asked about my diet in months, only today first asked if I feel emotionally ready and the convo was very short. Like 1 minute. Was I expecting too much or is this weird?
