flu shot

Hey ladies! Im about 8 weeks pregnant and my ob suggested the flu shot yesterday (I refused b.c i wanted to do some research get opinions ect.) but I was wondering if I should get it? Ive never had one in my life. any opinions? would/did you get one while pregnant? the flu made its way into.our hpuse last year and I dont want to relive that experience. I have mixed emoitions, would appriciate any opinions! Thanks!
