My 2 week old baby isn’t getting much sleep as he hates sleeping on his back! I put him down on his back and within 10 minutes he’s full on crying. Once he’s on my chest he’s a happy camper. His swing is hit or miss with whether he’s happy in there or not. I’m struggling to get much sleep as my husband is away with work and it’s just me with our newborn and his inability to sleep - I caved and let him sleep on his tummy on my chest last night, but I’m nervous about SIDS and debating if I put him on his tummy like they did back in the day, or if there’s something else that has worked for others in this same situation to get them to sleep on their back? If he were rolling over on his own I’d be much less nervous and let him sleep on his tummy. He does at least have some pretty good neck control already for one so young.
