Last night my MIL did something really stupid. She got on the FB page of the Battery my husband is in in Basic Training and sent them a message about how it was cruel that they are holding their mail. She didn’t curse, but she definitely sounded aggressive in the message and ended it with “WHATS GOING ON????”. In all caps. The problem is, his commander runs that FB page. In basic training they go through 3 phases and he’s in red phase which is the most restricting phase and I believe that is why he hasn’t received my letters or hasn’t called me in 3 weeks. She said it upset her that I received 7 letters yesterday all stating that he hasn’t gotten any of my letters and he thinks I haven’t been writing him. It upset me too. I mean it’s my husband. But I know better than to confront his commander on FB about it. If he loses his phone privileges or letter writing privileges I will be pissed. Thankfully her last name is different than my husbands and she didn’t mention my husband by name in the message but god she is nuts. I am literally embarrassed that she did that.
