Sudden Period Change.

I have a family history of PCOS so it was not a shock to me when I did not have normal periods. I would go from a few months to a year an a half without a period. Recently, beginning in July, I started having a period around the same time each month.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Especially someone with a history of PCOS. I am not sure why this is suddenly happening as I have gained weight rather than lost it, and my doctors always just brush it off.

Please help.
