Pregnant and cramps? help!

Sometimes I get cramps and they can be quite uncomfortable, I haven't bled or spotted and I'm 19 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Is it my uterus stretching? Or something else? Worrys me sometimes as I had to go to the ER at 8 weeks due to severe bleeding but my baby was doing great and they couldn't tell me why I was bleeding. Haven't had problems since than, just want to calm my nerves. Should I tell my doctor I've been experiencing this when I go see him on the 4th?
