Deciding to do vbac last minute, needing positive feedback!
I am 37 weeks and 4 days. I was scheduled to have a C-section on December 12th, but just told my Dr that I want to do a vbac. They don't provide them at the hospital in my town and the closest, safest place to do vbac is 3 hours away, which is why I've just been going along with the C-section. Up until I decided to tell my Dr, I was was an emotional mess. Watching birthing videos and bawling my eyes out all the time. I had this strong urge to just lock myself in the bathroom and have the bath baby at home (which, in the back of my head I knew was incredibly risky, but I was determined!) And now that I've actually made the decision And told my Dr, I am freaking out! My Dr wasn't all that supportive, which didn't help. He just gave me a lot of the downsides to Vbac and told me a lot of vbacs are undocumented (after I told him I've been researching). If anyone could give me some positive feedback, tips, or advice, I would greatly appreciate it!
