Sexual harassment

I know political debates might get heated but let's try to keep it civilized people.

Matt Lauer got fired for sexual harassment. I'd imagine other people in the media business have been fired for the same. So why do we allow our president to still be president, even though he has sexually harassed others? Is it because it happened in the past? I am confused, is there something I'm missing? Should our president not be held to the same (if not, higher) standards?
