Heating pad?

Can you use a heating pad on your hip or is it still not considered safe? I’m 12 weeks pregnant and my hip down to my knee is killing me to the point I can’t sit, walk, lay down, or anything. I just need relief 😭😭

My doc said to use a heating pad for pregnancy cramps so you should be fine. Just don’t do it for a long time or forget about it.

I was told you my midwife to use a heating pad for round ligament pain so your hip will be fine.

My OB said a heating pad is fine (including belly and low back) as long as you do 10-15 minutes on/off and don’t use the highest setting. I use one on my back every night after work and have had no issues.

I do everyday just not on my stomach obviously. I have hip pain so I need it.
