Does it work?

Been with my partner for almost two years, known him almost 3, he always told me he didn’t want kids until later on in life. I ended up getting pregnant on the implant and unfortunately miscarried :( last year, so after months and months of me wanting one, my best friend was pregnant at the same time when I miscarried, my partner has finally agreed. But I’m so paranoid that it will take ages, and that it won’t work, and I’ve heard everyone talk about Pre-seed. So does it work?
