My children will not watch Calliu because I think he is the most obnoxious thing ever and I can’t handle his whining.

My daughter is 9 and forever she hasn’t been allowed to watch spingebob. My husband absolutely hates that show and thinks it’s just trashy so that’s the one she isn’t allowed to watch. She is also very aware if she realizes something is inappropriate she won’t watch it. If her cousins are watching something she feels isn’t appropriate she will walk away and go read or play on her own. Her cousins are 10&14 and we’re watching 13 reasons why and well it’s imo not appropriate for my 9 year old to see. She knows about bullying and ect but age appropriate. I had to argue with the mom to not put that show on while staying at my in laws as other kids in the house aren’t allowed to watch such shows.

Going to try to keep things low media and just watch movies on Friday nights as a family; I thought I read the the government discourages tv for children under 2yo.
