How much do you bleed during miscarriage?

I believe i am going through a miscarriage. On 11/30 i had my first ultrasound vaginally. My doctor was in a hurry but we saw a heartbeat. I think. After the visit i began to have brownish spotting. Old blood spotting. Not enough to need a pad. And there would be nothing in the toilet. On Saturday no guy i decided to go in to the er because i was kind of worried that i was still light spotting. They took my hcg and it was 5k+. They did an ultrasound (abdominal&vaginally;) and the baby measure 6wks and few days. But they said they didn’t seem to find a heartbeat. But that maybe it was just still early. I automatically thought the bleeding was because of miscarriage. They discharged me and diagnosed me with threatened miscarriage. After the u/s a bled light pinkish. Still no pad or bleeding in toilet. Yesterday morning i had blood in the toilet. Not period dark. Light pink/reddish. I put a pad on and there would be spots but i haven’t filled a pad. It’s just a few spots. After yesterday morning it was just spotting no blood in toilet. That night there were very tiny clots or what seemed like clots. I did have cramping but not period like cramps (only time i felt period like cramps was Sunday night). This morning there was pinkish/reddish blood in toilet (nothing bright). But still i haven’t filled a pad or anything. When i wipe there’s very small tiny clot. Nothing major. I have a doctor appt tomorrow but this does seem like a miscarriage right? If so when should i expect to fill a pad? Sorry for long post.
