Confused?

So im going to start birth control pills in a few days and im nervous!! Im not sure what to expect, i see all these comments on how the pill affected them. I know everyone isn’t going to experience the same things but still it got me worried. Also i started looking in to birth control because me and my partner were tired of buying condoms and having to put it on everytime and sometimes they dry me out down there but he’s the one that suggested it and when i told him im getting on birth control he didn’t seem to be interested or care all he said was it was scary and if i could eventually get off it or if its permanent , I explained it to him and he did answer me back( on snapchat) .

Now im thinking if I should even bother doing birth control?
