Complete pelvic exam ultrasound!

Has anyone had a transvaginal ultrasound to detect PCOS?

I recently went to Gyno, and she ordered this exam for me. I’ll be having it the day before Christmas eve and i have a few questions for those who have had it done.

Is it painful?

What should I expect?

How is it post-exam? Any side effects?

I know I’ll probably have a chance to ask the day of the exam but kind of want to mentally prepare myself for it.

(I know I’m suppose to consume 32 ounces of water 1 hour prior to the ultrasound.)
