How many kicks should you feel in an hour?

I’m asking because I thought it was 10, but during my NST I was told 4. I went in because he was moving less than usual for the past couple days. Everything came out okay tho.

In the UK official guidance is that it’s different for everyone. Get the kicks count app (it’s free) and use it, work Out what’s normal for you, then if it changes from normal you’ll know

My doctor asked me to count 5 kicks in an hour in the morning and night. 
If I don’t feel 5 kicks in that one hour I am laying down and doing nothing, I should try again the next hour. 
If still nothing, I should go to triage.
