my bf is clingy

We've only been together a month & he wants to be with me 24/7!! ive told him he's clingy & I tell him it's annoying sometimes. He knew prior to us dating that I hate clinginess. every time he walks me to dance practice he makes me wait because he doesn't want me to leave. Sometimes, he'll literally miss his ride home because he's walking me to wherever im going & he knows it too.

what should I do?? or tell him. Please help me..

update: the texts are only examples of times he's been clingy. & I called him selfish because he still wanted me to go (to a practice test) just so he could see me even tho I clearly had said I didnt feel good (sick)
