Tips to deal with preventing baby accidents 🤕 and stories!

I think we are all at the stage now when baby is exploring around ‘safe’ areas. E.g. I used to let baby lay next to me on her back on our king sized bed after she wakes up while I check my emails. Well the other day she rolled off the bed! She was able to do at least 2 rolls in order to make it to the edge. Thankfully our bed is low and she fell on all 4’s 🙏🏼. She wasn’t rolling yet so it really caught me off guard.

Then tonight I was talking to my sister in the living room and had her propped next to me in sitting position. She slides off the couch onto the rug- even my sister couldn’t believe she just slid off the couch we were both right there. I know it’s par for the course every now and then but it’s a big adjustment now to watch her a Lot more closely.

What are tips and tricks to keep them from accidents? It’s only going to get harder to watch them as they start crawling and walking; my sisters boss has a one year old and says she’s always running into stuff. I had my mom donate her glass coffee table.
