First time using a diva cup?

anyone have any personal experience they'd like to share? Needing advice. So
i don't use tampons & never liked them. I know this is a tmi thing. So my first try didn't work. i gave up. I googled it and sounds like a lot of people have a hard time inserting it. I am a big girl and 2nd try in the shower worked. Did anyone experience air going in/out? Can u pee with it in?

I struggled with the diva cup at first, you’re not alone!! Keep trying, it’s amazing once your perfect it! It took me 3 cycles to perfect it and now that I have I’m never going back to tampons. I find it’s easiest to insert and remove in the shower. I wore a pad the first few times I used it when I was afraid of leaking as I learned how to insert it properly. Keep trying, practice makes perfect!

Yes you can pee and poop with it in.. different holes. I love the diva cups. I cut the tip off, because I could still feel that part. Using the C/U fold is the easiest for me. I put it in while sitting in the toilet.

Make sure you twist it at least one full turn after inserting so it will pop open seal and prevent leaking. Try a different fold if you have a hard time inserting it. Yes sometimes air gets trapped. It has a learning curve but don’t give up you won’t want to use anything else once you get the hang of it! I used a pad the first few times too if I was going to town or something just in case. I’ve only had a leak twice and that was in the middle of the night and because I forgot to empty before bed.
