Mother in law Addresses me as "Ms."

L

I'm divorced, and now remarried. My mother in law and I do not have a great relationship, and have never discussed my divorce. (My husband hasn't mentioned it- it's no secret they just aren't that close really and it never came up.) It's the first thing that pops up when you google my name - and my brother in law is a nosey paralegal- so I have NO doubt she knows. All of my in laws are very strict Catholics.

Anyways, she sent me a card (when we weren't even on speaking terms) and addressed it "Ms." instead of "Mrs.". I feel this was on purpose, to be rude about my divorce. Am I reading into things too much? Would this offend anyone else.
