Mini Pill Norethindrone

Hey I have a question for any doctors on here or anyone who’s taken this mini pill Norethindrone. I’m going to ask the pharmacist too but I was just wondering I have been taking this pill consistently for this whole year that I have been exclusively breastfeeding. She just weaned herself off on her birthday December 1st. I have a doctors appointment Jan 8th to go back on regular birth control but my question is, will this birth control still work for this month even though I’m no longer breastfeeding? We are using condoms for the next two months just to be safe too. This month for on this pill then next month to be on the reg birth control to give it long enough to take full effect.
