Pest control in apartment/newborn?

We recently got an apartment out of state. My (5 week old) LO's father signed/moved in a while ago but LO and I just arrived today. The complex provides "pest control" but apparently didn't specify exactly what/when they do anything. He isn't sure when they were here last or if they have been in the last few weeks. I'm asking the office for specifics tomorrow but should I be worried or take LO elsewhere in the mean time?

When we have pest control come we are required to be out of the house 6hrs. Thats it.

When we had our son we moved into a new apartment only a week or two before he was born. The pest control technician at the complex said that the prior treatments done on the unit were safe but they just wouldn't do the monthly spraying until he was at least 6 months old. They put a marker on our door plaque so that whoever did the rounds knew that they weren't to spray inside. Check with the office and find out what chemicals they use and then you can look up the exposure recommendations, and see how they want you to go about making sure things are done safely.
