What made you take a pregnancy test?

Were you TTC and just taking one every month? 
If not:
Was your period late? Were your boobs swollen and/or tender? Did you have morning sickness? Did you have an "oopsie" and wanted to find out if you got pregnant? 
What was the first symptom or reason why you took a pregnancy test?

My period has always been irregular so I wasn't too concerned but then I started getting little crampy like pains but no bleeding for about a week so I took like 8 tests in one day and bam. 2 days until my due date.

No symptoms, and I was like two days late (which isn’t enough to make me take a pregnancy test since I’m usually a few days late anyway). I woke up one morning, and while I was still in bed I remembered I had a pregnancy test under the bathroom sink. Decided, hey why not? Peed in a cup, dunked that little pee stick in, and left it alone for a hot minute. I was not anticipating those two little lines. We were not preventing, but not actively trying.

I do I was young and dumb so I didn’t know my period was late (I didn’t keep track of it) I just remember cramping for 4/5 days and my period never coming so I figured I was pregnant

i had intense cramps a week before my period was due. thought it was strange that my period was coming that early.  until my period didnt arrive a few days later... then the day my period was due no cramps in sight. took a test and it was positive!
