Ear piercing (is this the right room)

So I’m 16 and I have never had anything pierced. Ik it’s weird. I just kind of forgot that it was even a thing tbh. Never really cared about them growing up and I’m fine with that. But the last two years I’ve been wanted my first lobes done and I’m gonna do it in like 2 days.

Is there anything I should know?

U guys probs got urs when u were babies but if not then does it hurt badly?

And should I do the gun or needle?
