Is cramping normal at 15 weeks?

First time mom here! I’ll be 16 weeks tomorrow and I’ve been feeling mild cramps. I would get these in the beginning when I first found out about my pregnancy and i was told that was normal because the uterus was expanding. They’re not severe where I can’t stand the pain, but I can definitely feel it. Do any other mamas get cramping? Is it still considered normal?

Yes. Odds are, you will have cramping throughout. The baby is growing and the uterus needs to expand to allow for this. They are also pushing other organs and such out of heir way as well. I’m 18 weeks and have cramps off and on. I had them the majority of my first trimester, then for two weeks from 15-17 weeks. They come and go.

I had cramping all the way up until around 30 wks and then again starting at 34 wks. It's probably just your uterus expanding and preparing for the baby's growth.  If you're worried,  however,  or if they become very strong just call your doctor to get reassurance
