What does quickening (early baby movements) feel like?

I am 18 weeks along and for the past few weeks I've been feeling "poking like cramps". That's the best way I can describe it. 
I'm not sure if that's my son moving around because I hear movements feel like "bubbles" and "fluttering"- which sound gentle to me. 
What I'm feeling doesn't hurt but they feel a little uncomfortable. Is this my little one pulling on the cord or something? He's only approx. 5.5 oz so I can't imagine his legs are that strong yet. FTM here. Thanks mommas.

I think it felt like a little twitch, like the ones you’d get under your eye that you can’t control, but in your lower tummy.

I asked my doc at 16 weeks if the scratches I was feeling were baby and she said absolutely. Everyone feels things differently. I can understand why some feel like flutters (when baby rolls) but other times it just straight up feels like someone is running their hand along my internal organs. I’d say you’re feeling baby, for sure!

to me it feels like this. when you click someone with your middle finger and thumb (if that makes sense) but from the inside.
