Boyfriends mom has problem with my percings. Either I take them out or I can't date him!!!

So I have snakebites on my lips. My boyfriends mom hates them and she said either I take them out or I can't date him!!! I've had snakebites since I was 13. I've loved them all my life and I've never taken them out or wanted to. They give me so much confidence and it's my favourite part about myself. My boyfriends mom hates them so badly. She said either I can take them out or I can't date my boyfriend. We've been dating for about 4 months and I really really like him but our relationship has been okay. I would literally rather cut off a toe then give these things up!! If I do remove them it will leave a scar and if we break up then I will have to get it re-pierced(($80-$120)) but if I don't I'll loose my boyfriend. I'm under 18 btw and still in high school. What should I do?!
