Ways to induce at 37 weeks??

Question

So I’m 37 and 2 days and just went to check if I’m dilated @ the doctors, sadly I’m not, she said I’m only at like a fingertip and I really was hoping to atleast be a cm or 2 by now with the Amount of pain I’m in :/ hubby and I have been having sex to try to speed it up but doesn’t seem like it’s working. What else can I do to help induce labor??

you cannot. labor is a natural process. Why are you trying to start labor when you're still not ready to deliver the baby. when your body and baby are both ready you'll go into labor before then you are risking baby and yourself. the ACOG changed full term to 39 weeks in October 2013 because babies brains and lungs are still developing until then

Thank you ladies! I’ll definitely try the yoga, I’m just getting really impatient at this point and my body is constantly hurting now, I feel like I can’t do anything because of the pain, thank you for all the advice!

if you're constantly in pain try stretching gentle yoga stretches you can look up safe pregnancy yoga stretches and that should help with the pain significantly just take it slow and easy and make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of healthy protein
