Labor & delivery rant

Once again I found myself calling my ob to see what I could safely take for back pain since nothing I've done has worked. So she sent me to labor and delivery to get checked out just in case of being in pre labor with the way my back pain is.

The dr at labor and delivery left me with more unanswered questions then when I came in, especially since he had to go ask the midwives on duty for answers. Told me to do everything I've already done but then said try walking as much as I can tolerate because our little girl is sitting at a +3 station right now at 35wks & 2days.

Don't know if I've dilated more or what % my effacement is since during the cervix check he couldn't get around our little ones head but he didn't think I've progressed since my last check 2 weeks ago when I was 2-3cm dilated and 30% effaced and baby was at a -2 station.

Really can't stand having a obgyn at labor and delivery who seems like they don't know what they are talking about because they look confused when you ask them a simple question like " is my obgyn right, Could this be the start of pre labor?" and the only response I got was " your not having contractions, so just try walking as much as possible, hydrating and sleep when you can."
