How did you manage to build up a supply of breast milk!? I have been trying for 2 weeks and can’t bank up more than 3 bottles worth at any given time. Every time I even try to pump it throws off my supply to the point that pumping once early in the day means my LO will literally be crying and rooting the rest of the day needing to eat like every hour for 6-7 hours. On days I have given myself a break from pumping he goes 3-4 hours without being hungry and peacefully sleeps between.

There’s a clear difference in my supply on days I pump and days I don’t. But I can’t keep doing this! I go back to work in 3 weeks and can’t even bank up enough to be gone one day! I need help what do I do?! Do I give him formula supplement for a couple days and just do nothing but pump to get it started? Will that mess with my supply or my LOs eating? I can’t keep nursing every hour during the day without getting enough pumped, something has to change!
