Top Companies to Donate Hair??

I went to a hair salon to talk about potentially cutting my hair, and to schedule an appointment. Well, apparently someone was available right then and asked me how short I wanted to go, if I wanted to donate my hair.. I didn't even hesitate. I told her I would be more than willing to donate! So, instead of chopping off quite a few inches, I went as short as I could while still looking feminine (even with side shaves so the the hairdresser and I could get as much hair as possible)

I had no idea that my hair was 17+ inches long! I don't know which company to send these locks to. Any suggestions?

Please don't donate to Locks of Love as they will only SELL the hair!!! They do not GIVE the hair to anyone, whether they need it or not! Pantene Beautiful Lengths is who I donated to. They GIVE the wigs to women who have lost their hair due to illness

My mom and I were going to donate our hair to locks of luv. But found out there's a fee to do so or something like that's.
So SOMEWHERE in my garage, there is 5 16"+ braided ponytails that we've forgotten about...until now. Yikes

I just googled Locks of Love and it says they accept permed and colored hair now! But just in case here are a few others and the guidelines for locks of love!
