Flowers or chocolates 3 weeks after baby?

My friend had a baby 3 weeks ago and I’m off to see her tomorrow. I’m unsure on whether I should get flowers or chocolate. What would you prefer?

how about a lovely home cooked meal or bring a healthy salad something extra to put in the refrigerator for to have when you're no longer there or simply call her and ask her what she'd like

I would say chocolate for the simple fact that after you have a baby you’re not thinking about watering flowers lol.

Personally neither.  I'm not a chocolate eater and flowers are one more thing I would have to deal with.   A nice hot meal would be amazing.   Casseroles are super easy to make throw in a disposable pan and can be frozen or thrown in the oven later would be sooooooo helpful.  Give her a call and ask what would help her.   I would be happy to just actually have conversations with someone from the outside world

I have gestational diabetes,  so my vote is chocolate.  I totally want to eat some chocolate after baby is born!

Chocolate! After I had my son, between nursing him and just taking care of him in general, I was constantly starving and some chocolate would have been a nice little switch from the super savory freezer meals (also very thankful for those) friends and family brought by!

My MIL always brings me see's candies after I give birth and you don't realize how bomb sweets are cause your so busy so it's greaattt

food, wine (if she's not breastfeeding), and offer to watch the wee one for a couple hours. you would be a saint in her book.

When my girlfriend had her first baby a group of us went over with all of the food you can’t eat whilst pregnant... soft cheeses, junk food (she has Gestational Diabetes) and everything else she loved. Make it personal to her
