I was told my baby has EIF (bright white spot in the heart) and that it is sometimes seen in baby’s with DS. I was sent to a specialist and she did another ultrasound today and said there are no other markers and the rest of the ultrasound looks perfect. I declined the blood test because of the fact I am 25 weeks pregnant and at this point the results don’t change anything. But naturally I can’t help but still worry in the back of my mind that there is something wrong. Maybe I should have just taken the blood test? But what if it’s positive? How will that affect my pregnancy for next 4 months.. so confused right now.
