Has anyone else’s child done this?

This last week has been extremely difficult with my sons sleeping. He’s 13 months old and normally is a great sleeper. But lately he doesn’t want to stay in his own crib, even for nap time. Every time my husband or I try to put him down he wakes right up and starts crying. I just wanna know what did you mamas do to try to stop it? We normally hold him until he falls asleep then we put him in bed. Please help!!

My son went through a similar phase. First make sure it’s nothing physical like teeth or an ear infection. If you’re sure it’s just temperamental and you have a good schedule and routine down, then what I did was after nighttime routine and a few snuggles I’d lay him down, if he stood up I’d lay him back down with a kiss and say “bedtime” if he stayed down but upset I’d comfort him in his crib. And I would keep doing it until he slept, if you know they are tired they will sleep eventually if you do not engage them. Every time it gets easier until their back to their normal sleeping. Make sure in the evening leading up to doing this for the first time you clearly outline the expectations for the night, explain how things will go different that night, and that you’ll be teaching him how to sleep better.

I am in the same situation! 
I read that maybe changing their bed to a toddler bed with a rail could help, or leaving their bedroom door open! 
I'm willing to try both now!

My 13 month old sleeping habits are totally crazy! She doesn’t want to sleep and wakes up 200000x at night . I started mixing some chamomile tea with her milk and still wakes up twice at night
