My 13 month old still doesn’t walk? Anyone else?!?

She walks holding on to stuff, she will crawl to the place she wants to go but won’t walk. I think she’s scared. Now, all she does is be on the floor, doesn’t even want to be in her play pen but won’t walk. Any other mommy going through the same ?

She’s not scared she’s just not ready, but this is still very early, the guide for walking is to not even worry until 18 months and even then it usually just means they’re a little late. My son doesn’t walk either, won’t even stand and he was an early crawler, and started pulling up and cruising early so I’m surprised, but it’s nothing to worry about.

My son is not walking yet, either, but I'm not concerned. He's my youngest of 3 with a pretty big age gap (6yrs), so I am not ready for him to start walking yet. My oldest daughter didn't walk until about 15 months, so no worries.

There is no reason to be worried this early.  Your little one is right on track and just isn’t ready yet.  There is no reason to worry until you hit the 18 month mark.

My daughter is the exact same! I’m not worried about her. My pedi said she’s good since her other skills are developing!

Is she an only child? Do you have pets? I know babies with older siblings who are walking or big friendly dogs usually start walking before kids who have nothing to chase 😂 I wouldn’t worry, like pp said they go from not walking at all to running in just a few days.

Not walking either, I have started giving her a few min a day of walking exercises (pushing the walker from behind around the living room or grabbing my fingers to take a few steps here and there). My first was an early walker but I remind myself all kids have their time line

Is she ever around other kids her age that walk or little older? I think that’s what encouraged my daughter the most. She wanted to keep up! She will get there (:
