Can a newborn sleep in a pack and play?

Can a newborn sleep in a pack and play? I️ have the bassinet part but she threw up in it and I️ washed it. Come to find out my dryer broke so now I️ have 2 options. A pack and play or a swing. I️ don’t wanna do the swing because I heard somewhere it could end badly. But can a newborn sleep just on the mattress thingy in a pack and play? Do I️ need to put a sheet on it?

Your little one should be fine in the pack n play. I would put a cover on the mattress just in case of a diaper blowout or spit up.

yes a baby or a newborn can sleep in a pack and play. I would just put a blanket in it, tuck it under so its nice and tight. also so it gives a little softness for baby.

yup a lot of people use pack and plays instead of cribs. i have used it with or without a sheet. if you use a sheet just make sure its fitted and cant come loose

Does this look okay. the sheet is a little big because it’s meant for a crib. But I️ put a little blanket under the sheet so she’s a little comfortable. Should I️ just take everything out completely because the sheets a little too big. I️ just don’t want it coming lose some how. Sorry if I️ sound crazy I️ just want my baby girl safe and I’m a FTM with nobody else to ask.

yes with my son he would sleep in a pack a play since its completely flat. and I could move it around anywhere in the house.
