Yeast infections

Okay ladies i may be over reacting here but im a nervous wreck with this first pregnancy. Im currently 11w5d and have had zero bleeding so far. I found out tuesday i have a yeast infection and my dr gave me a cream to insert every night but when i inserted it and pulled it back out there was blood, a teeny tiny bit but still. Is this normal because the cervix is swollen and irritated or should i be scared? Ive also heard all yeast infection medications are dangerous to take in pregnancy and am scared now. Are there natural ways to get rid of it? Hoping im just being a nervous nelly
