I just found out my friend likes me

I made a friend this year at my first year of high school. Today I found out that my friend (a guy) likes me. He is super nice and funny but a bunch of people think he’s creepy. But I don’t think he’s creepy at all. I actually think he’s kind of cute. My best friends told me that he likes me. Honestly I’m just confused because I’ve been talking to another guy for a month but Ive figured out I don’t like that guy that way.

I need help, advice, consolation, anything. I’m so confused. I would date him. My friends ship us but if everyone thinks he’s creepy am I going to be judged if I end up dating him?
