Misdiagnosed miscarriage?

So Monday my levels had went from a 26 down to a 17 and was told I miscarried. (I was bleeding quite heavy) well today I just had this feeling to want to take a test. I took a digital and it said pregnant but those only test to a 25, and then right after I took a cheap test and it was positive and the line looks darker than the ones from a week ago. Is it possible for your levels to drop and then still have a healthy pregnancy or am I just going crazy??

I would just wait for your next appointment. it can take a while for the tests to become negative and the urine tests are a Qualitative tests meaning they are either positive or not, they're not quantitative so darkness doesn't indicate anything really

How far along are you? At 9w my HCG was 136,000 then two days later my HCG was 124,000. Midwife at the time was scared that I was miscarrying even though I had no symptoms of miscarriage. We had an ultrasound a few days later and saw a healthy baby with a heartbeat of 174 bpm and measuring exact for gestational age.
I ended up switching midwives. I’m currently 17w with a healthy baby girl.

My cousin was 3-4 weeks pregnant when she got an ultrasound and they couldn’t find the “egg”/ baby so they gave her chemo that had to do with a different health problem and a few days later the doctor called and said they made a mistake that she would have had a healthy “normal” baby but the chemo they gave her would make the baby unstable and mentally disabled. So they “killed” the baby because they weren’t patient enough to wait.

My tests were positive for 5 weeks after I was diagnosed with miscarriage.

I'm realy not sure, but your doctor should want to check your levels again and make sure they went to 0. Hopefully they'll be up when they check you again! Good luck!
